Standard US Army Issue Android phones coming soon

mozoot-androThe US Army together with select government agencies is reported to be getting a fresh batch of Android phones to soldiers and agents. These Android phones will be running a modified version of the Android OS and is said to feature a range of apps that are essential to performing their duties better.

These bad boys will start rolling out to US soldiers as early as next month with other government agencies like the FBI and Police Departments to come soon.

AT&T releases an update for the ATRIX 2. Details

AT&T in cooperation with Motorola has released an update for the Motorola ATRIX 2 which will bring a number of bug fixes and enhancements to the smartphone’s user experience. Sadly, there’s still no Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the device but expect the update to a decent one.
The software version 55.13.25 brings enhancements to the camera app, a new Google Music application, security enhancements, keyboard improvements and Mobile Hotspot improvements.
The update is over-the-air so you can easily update through your phone by hitting settings. Be sure to back up your files and fully charge your device before commencing on the update.

Barnes & Noble announces a new Nook before Summer

mozoot-newnookBarnes & Nobles has announced that they are currently developing a new version of their eReader, the Nook through a New York Times article. Unfortunately, there were no details on it’s specifications and an actual release date but the feature suggests that it will be launching come Spring.
