Here’s another 4G LTE smartphone that’s worth looking at. The Pantech Breakout is now confirmed on Verizon and is packing a decent list of specifications that gives you a cheaper alternative but with capabilities not too far from the headliners.
The Pantech Breakout sports a 1 GHz processor (single-core) and will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box. It’s screen comes in the form of a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen with a pixel resolution of 480 x 800. It comes with support for Google Mobile services and a virtual QWERTY keyboard featuring SWYPE is loaded into the phone.
The device will be available come September 22 and will be priced at $99 when you sign up for a two-year contract with Verizon.
